Roles and Responsibilities

Editorial Board Members will be expected to:

Advise the Editor-in-Chief on journal strategy, scope development, editorial policy, and the international positioning of the journal.

Solicit, evaluate, and review submissions in their areas of expertise, ensuring high scholarly standards, originality, and methodological rigor.

Promote the journal within academic, professional, and interdisciplinary communities related to algorithmic media, platform studies, artificial intelligence, communication, digital governance, and intelligent systems.

Assist in the development of special issues, thematic collections, invited papers, and international academic outreach activities when needed.

Support the journal in strengthening its academic influence, publication quality, editorial procedures, and preparation for future indexing and database applications.

Maintain ethical standards and ensure integrity, fairness, transparency, and accountability throughout the peer-review and editorial decision-making process.

Qualifications

We welcome applications from scholars who:

Have a strong publication record in algorithmic media, platform intelligence, artificial intelligence, communication studies, media studies, information systems, data science, digital platforms, recommender systems, computational social science, or related fields.

Demonstrate international collaboration, academic visibility, and recognition within relevant research communities.

Possess prior editorial, peer-review, journal management, conference organization, or academic leadership experience, preferably at the international level.

Show expertise in emerging topics such as platform governance, recommendation algorithms, content moderation, generative AI, social media intelligence, misinformation detection, human–AI interaction, digital communication, media automation, or responsible AI.

Are committed to the journal’s mission of open access, rigorous peer review, interdisciplinary research, and high-quality international scholarly communication.
